📋 Description

• Build and scale data infrastructure powering a business intelligence platform • Design, maintain, and enhance scalable pipelines processing billions of ad server and ancillary data events • Ingest and normalize data from SSPs, DSPs, ad servers including GAM, and third-party reporting APIs • Develop ETL/ELT workflows transforming raw data into analytics-ready datasets • Create data models for campaign performance optimization, supply analysis, supply allocations, and profit maximization • Build and maintain data warehouses and data lakes optimized for ad-tech query patterns • Implement data quality monitoring, validation, and anomaly detection for data streams • Support Executive, BI, and analytics teams with clean, documented, performant data infrastructure • Ensure GDPR and CCPA compliance in data collection, storage, and processing • Power real-time analytics and dashboards that help customers optimize campaigns, manage workflows, and drive efficiency and growth

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional data engineering experience • 2+ years working with programmatic advertising and ad-tech data (GAM) • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL • Hands-on experience with data warehouses: BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, ClickHouse • Experience with batch processing frameworks: Spark, dbt, Airflow • Understanding of ad-tech data structures: bid requests, impressions, OpenRTB schemas, log-level data • Experience with cloud platforms: AWS, GCP • Experience with infrastructure-as-code • Ability to work partial US work hours, available until 2pm ET • Familiarity with SSP reporting APIs and log-level data: Magnite, PubMatic, Index Exchange, Xandr • Experience with Google Ad Manager reporting, Data Transfer files, and BigQuery exports • Knowledge of ad-tech revenue metrics, auction analytics, demand partner performance, supply chain data, and related metrics • Familiarity with Python and SQL; Scala is nice to have • Experience with Apache Spark, dbt, Apache Flink • Experience with BigQuery, Snowflake, ClickHouse, Redshift • Experience with Airflow, Dagster, Prefect • Experience with S3, GCS, Delta Lake, Parquet • Experience with AWS, GCP, Terraform, Kubernetes • Nice to have: ML feature engineering for bid optimization or yield prediction • Nice to have: publisher-side monetization data products • Nice to have: privacy-preserving data techniques, including differential privacy and clean rooms • Nice to have: CTV/OTT advertising data and video ad metrics • Nice to have: identity resolution and cross-device data challenges
