📋 Description

• Design, implement, and maintain automated test cases and test scenarios • Develop automated tests primarily using Python • Maintain and continuously improve a BDD test automation framework based on Behave • Perform API and integration testing, including gRPC-based communication • Use Playwright with Python for end-to-end and API testing • Create and maintain regression and smoke integration test suites • Analyze failed automated tests, investigate root causes, and create defects when appropriate • Develop and improve test clients, mocks, and supporting automation tools • Create and maintain test data and test environments • Review and improve existing test automation code • Collaborate closely with developers, Test Automation Engineers, and Software Requirement Leads • Analyze testability and challenge acceptance criteria where necessary • Execute automated tests locally and through CI/CD pipelines • Work with mocked APIs and hardware components as part of the testing environment

🎯 Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Python for test automation • Solid experience in Test Automation within Agile development teams • Strong experience with API and integration testing • Experience with Protocol Buffers and gRPC • Strong hands-on experience with Docker, ideally including Docker Compose • Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test frameworks • Good understanding of test design, regression testing, and defect analysis • Experience with Git-based development workflows • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Good communication and collaboration skills • Experience with BDD/TDD, ideally using Behave (nice to have) • Experience with Playwright using Python (nice to have) • Experience with GitLab and GitLab CI/CD pipelines (nice to have) • Experience with mocking services, APIs, or hardware components (nice to have) • Knowledge of OPC UA (nice to have) • Experience with VS Code, WSL2, and DevContainers (nice to have) • Shell scripting experience (nice to have)
