📋 Description

• Directly contribute to engineering initiatives through hands-on coding, design, and architecture. • Navigate ambiguous problems and act as a self-starter, taking the initiative to communicate directly with product management and other stakeholders to define technical requirements, solutions, and timelines. • Drive technical roadmap execution and lead architectural decisions, upholding system design as a core tenet of all deliverables. • Participate in code reviews and foster a culture of code quality, testing, and documentation. • Establish and maintain engineering best practices and quality standards. • Balance technical debt with new feature development. • Mentor developers, seeking out opportunities and providing guidance for engineers to grow and excel. • Work with systems handling Protected Health Information (PHI) and sensitive data. • Complete HIPAA/PHI privacy and compliance training within 30 days and maintain current status on Natera training requirements.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience. • Strong technical background in modern web development, specifically using React and JavaScript/TypeScript, including experience with complex embedding patterns (iframes, cross-origin messaging). • Experience with programming in JavaScript frameworks such as NextJS. • Solid understanding of backend systems, APIs, and databases (PostgreSQL, Snowflake, or similar). • Experience with cloud infrastructure and providers, with AWS being preferred. • Experience building LLM-powered applications — such as agentic pipelines, tool-calling systems, or AI-augmented workflows — is a strong plus. • Strong understanding of software development methodologies and track record of successful project delivery. • Experience in Healthcare IT or developing software in a regulated environment is a plus.
