📋 Description

• Design, build, ship, and measure Native’s public website end to end, including product stories, launch pages, campaign sites, and careers pages • Own website performance, accessibility, SEO, and marketing analytics instrumentation • Design and build internal applications, taking them to production-grade products with interaction design, information architecture, access control, error and empty states, observability, and maintainability • Build and own a tokenized Brand OS in a GitHub repository containing type, color, spacing, motion, components, templates, and brand rules • Make data visualization a first-class part of Native’s design system • Set and maintain a high craft bar across typography, motion, density, responsive behavior, load performance, and visual details • Apply version control, code review, CI, observability, and documentation • Translate marketing, product, and leadership needs into shipped surfaces • Partner with core engineering on platform standards

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated, portfolio-backed ability to both design and build production web software at a high craft bar • Personally shipped public-facing sites with considered typography, purposeful motion, deliberate art direction, and audit-surviving performance • Shipped data-dense B2B or internal applications, including dashboards, tables, filters, permissions, and workflows • Daily, production-level use of AI coding agents • Ability to build agent harnesses with tools, context, prompts, guardrails, and evaluation loops • Ability to explain delegated work, agent failure modes, and quality controls • Command of TypeScript, React, Next.js, Three.js, modern CSS, edge deployment, a motion library, and structured content • Authored or materially owned a design system used by other people • Comfortable being the only person performing this function and executing under ambiguity • Preferred: agency or design studio pedigree combined with in-house product experience • Preferred: public record of craft, such as Awwwards, FWA, CSS Design Awards recognition, a widely seen personal site, or a well-regarded open-source UI project • Preferred: founding or first design engineer experience • Preferred: 3D and WebGL experience and data-visualization depth built from real data • Preferred: experience building internal tools on third-party SaaS APIs
