📋 Description

• Support the Senior Regional Manager in delivering student recruitment strategies and achieving China recruitment targets • Contribute to the China Country Plan, including market research, recruitment priorities and annual event planning • Represent The University of Sydney at recruitment events, exhibitions, school and university visits • Deliver presentations to students and influencers • Provide market updates, competitor insights, recruitment reports and budget information to relevant stakeholders • Coordinate recruitment events, bookings, freight and marketing materials with the wider team • Maintain strong knowledge of China admissions requirements and undergraduate and postgraduate courses • Communicate in English and Mandarin while reflecting the University’s brand, reputation and key messages • Build relationships with education agents, schools, universities, articulation partners, government organisations and corporates • Collaborate with the Sydney Future Students team • Connect prospective students with University of Sydney education opportunities and help shape their journey toward a world-class education

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with relevant experience as an in-country university or foreign government representative • Strong knowledge of the China and Australia international education markets • Experience in student recruitment strategies and plans • Excellent English and Mandarin communication, public speaking, negotiation and presentation skills • Proven ability to build strong networks with schools, communities, education partners and organisations supporting students from China • Strong planning, organisational, stakeholder coordination, interpersonal and multicultural skills • Ability to influence stakeholders • Self-motivated, disciplined and customer-focused • Commitment to exceptional customer service and supporting prospective students • Full working rights in China • Available to start immediately or on short notice • Willingness to undertake business travel and work outside normal business hours, including weekends, as required
