📋 Description

• Deploy and develop backend systems powering the Libra Tribe, focusing on banking integrations, treasury platforms, and FX operations. • Drive the design of solutions that meet accounting, compliance, and financial controls requirements. • Lead cloud-native development efforts, deploying systems on Kubernetes and AWS, with flexibility for multi-cloud strategies. • Build and support systems for banking relationships, payment processing, reconciliation, liquidity management, and FX transactions. • Provide mentorship and guidance to engineers, fostering collaboration across the team. • Collaborate with product managers and other tribes to ensure technical alignment with business priorities. • Champion high standards for code quality, scalability, and resilience, applying the 12-Factor App methodology.

🎯 Requirements

• Tech Expert – Strong experience designing and deploying API-first, cloud-native backend systems (payments/fintech experience ideal). • Java Pro – Highly proficient in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and reactive frameworks like WebFlux/Project Reactor. • MongoDB Expert – Highly proficient with MongoDB, including deep knowledge of the Aggregation Framework, indexing strategies, and performance tuning. Experienced in working on scalable, highly available clusters using sharding and replica sets, particularly within MongoDB Atlas. • FinTech Fluent – Hands-on knowledge of banking systems, treasury operations, FX management, payment flows, reconciliation, and ledgers. • Cloud Native – Deep experience with Kubernetes, Spinnaker, AWS, and ideally multi-cloud strategies. • Compliance-Minded – Understanding of financial compliance and accounting standards, with experience building audit-ready systems. • Mentor & Leader – Passionate about developing engineers and leading by example. • Collaborator – Comfortable working with cross-functional stakeholders. • Startup DNA – Resilient, adaptable, and motivated by building things that matter.
