📋 Description

• Install, maintain, and repair equipment within an assigned territory/region • Own customer problems or incidents through resolution or escalation under agreed Service Level Agreements • Perform work on low-complexity financial and ATM products • Make minor repairs and replace components on Tier I equipment, including PCs, workstations, peripherals, printers, front-end POS systems, ATMs, kiosks, and single-pocket proof encoders • Assist with site preparation, cable installation, equipment staging, and minor equipment testing • Perform modular swaps and unit replacements • Respond to customer concerns by resolving or escalating them appropriately • Build customer relationships and represent NCR positively • Perform preventative maintenance, diagnose problems, and make module-level repairs • Follow security procedures when working with ATMs or within financial institutions • Manage NCR assets, tools, software, vehicles, documentation, and intellectual property used for customer services • Maintain parts inventory and records • Report calls, activities, expenses, customer asset information, and billing data accurately and promptly • Work on daily dispatches or establish schedules from automated reports • Travel extensively and carry/lift tool kits and parts weighing 1–50 lbs.; work rotating shifts as required • Achieve staff productivity measures • Coordinate with Call Center Staff via PDA to recover machines • Work with Security Escort Officers

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent • Ability to work with Microsoft Office suite • Experience on Windows XP and Windows 2000 operating systems • Experience in PC Hardware Maintenance and support • A+ Certification • ITE or Polytechnic in Electronics and Communications Engineering • Ability to work with minimal supervision • Good problem solving skills • Ability to pick up new skills quickly • Ability to work under pressure • Ability to meet deadlines and produce high quality work • Excellent interpersonal skills/customer relationship skills • High level of mechanical/electrical aptitude • Experience maintaining computer hardware, including desktops, servers, peripherals, routers, networks, switches, and hubs • High level of personal integrity • Ability to support and promote teamwork and cooperative effort • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, overtime, flex shifts, and on-call • Retail EPOS maintenance or installation experience required; strong desktop hardware experience may be considered if EPOS experience is limited • Associate’s Degree preferred • Previous experience in NCR or similar equipment is a plus • CCNA preferred • Must pass screening criteria applicable to the job
