• Provide program and project management support for NWS portfolios, programs, and IT projects • Support planning, execution, monitoring, and closing of projects in accordance with project management principles • Develop and maintain project schedules, Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), risk registers, and status reports • Track cost, schedule, scope, performance metrics, risks, and action items • Support Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC) activities, including investment reporting, baseline change requests, and data calls • Prepare and maintain project artifacts such as plans, briefings, reports, charters, SOPs, and business process documentation • Facilitate and support governance forums, IPT meetings, and stakeholder reviews • Assist with budget formulation, execution tracking, and financial reporting • Support acquisition activities including RFIs, SOWs, RFPs, and procurement documentation (non-inherently governmental) • Provide clear, concise written and verbal communications to technical and executive-level stakeholders • Support audits, independent assessments, and continuous process improvement initiatives
• Bachelor’s degree in business, management, IT, or a related field • Active Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification or equivalent • 5–8 years of experience supporting federal IT programs or projects • Strong understanding of portfolio, program, and project management methodologies • Experience with CPIC processes, OMB Circular A-11, and federal IT governance • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project), Smartsheet, Visio, and cloud-based collaboration tools • Due to federal contract requirements, applicants must be U.S. citizens.
