📋 Description

• Design and run rigorous A/B tests evaluating Messaging strategies, including channel, timing, content, and targeting • Apply causal inference techniques when clean testing is not feasible • Define and evolve Messaging experimentation standards and measurement frameworks • Own code, data pipelines, and dataset enrichment supporting analyses • Automate recurring analysis work, test reads, experiment dashboards, and messaging campaign health checks • Establish day-to-day partnership between Messaging DSE and the Consumer Messaging Program team • Translate open-ended business asks into well-scoped projects • Provide data-grounded recommendations for future strategies • Build scalable data solutions as Messaging expands into new business verticals and channels • Collaborate with Consumer Messaging Program, Product, Algorithms, Engineering, and other cross-functional colleagues

🎯 Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant experience, with demonstrated strength in experimentation and causal inference • Hands-on experience designing and analyzing experiments • Comfort applying causal inference and measurement techniques beyond vanilla A/B tests • Exceptional communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences • Strong thought partnership and ability to build credibility through clarity and judgment • Ability to translate ambiguous asks into clear data science solutions • Strong SQL and Python skills, including building dashboards and automations • Good judgment balancing stakeholder or test-specific needs with scalable solutions • Ability to work independently, drive projects end-to-end, and thrive in ambiguous situations • Experience with CRM, messaging/lifecycle marketing, or campaign analytics (exceptional candidate) • Experience with algorithms as a product (exceptional candidate) • PhD/Masters degree in Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field (exceptional candidate) • Familiarity with Gen AI productivity tools (exceptional candidate)
