📋 Description

• Research, develop, and iterate on LLM/ML evaluation and simulation systems to improve Netflix’s understanding of our members. • Drive your own roadmap, determining areas for rapid iteration and deeper development. • Create insights and help shape the direction of future member-facing investments by influencing the broader Product team. • Collaborate with Data Scientists, ML Scientists, and Engineers on various projects to maximize understanding of members. • Stay up to date with research in LLM advancement, identifying best practices and methodologies to implement.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong foundation in deep learning and LLMs with hands-on industry experience in improving large generative models and model evaluation. • Substantial relevant industry experience building scalable ML models, particularly in natural language processing and machine learning, translating to business impact. • Advanced degree (PhD) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field focusing on machine learning, artificial intelligence, or computer vision, or equivalent industry experience. • Strong software engineering skills in Python and proficiency with frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow. • Flexibility in approach, able to pivot between research goals and end-to-end solution implementation. • Excellent problem-solving skills, innovative solution development, and ability to adapt existing methods from literature to new challenges. • Excellent communicator, able to explain complex technical details to both technical and non-technical audiences. • Thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments with ambiguity, contributing positively to team collaboration and company culture.
