📋 Description

• Operate, monitor, and optimize large-scale Elasticsearch and OpenSearch platforms • Analyze and resolve incidents in 2nd- and 3rd-level support • Conduct root cause analyses and implement sustainable solutions • Ensure the availability, performance, and stability of business-critical systems • Monitor cluster health and troubleshoot complex platform issues • Optimize index, sharding, and storage concepts • Further develop monitoring and observability solutions • Collaborate with international DevOps, SRE, and platform teams • Automate recurring operational tasks • Create and maintain runbooks, operational documentation, and best practices • Participate in a 24/7 operations organization and on-call rotation

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of experience as an Elastic Engineer, OpenSearch Engineer, ELK Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, Platform Operations Engineer, or Observability Engineer • Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch and/or OpenSearch • Experience operating production logging or monitoring platforms • Knowledge of cluster operations, sharding, replication, index management, performance tuning, and incident management • Excellent Linux skills • Experience with monitoring and observability solutions • Good written and spoken English and German • Desirable: Knowledge of Kubernetes, Helm, Argo CD, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Kafka, Python, Bash, Ansible, infrastructure as code, and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
