📋 Description

• Support the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the client's data platform • Work across Lakehouse architectures, data pipelines, data modeling, and cloud-based analytics solutions • Communicate between data science team members, data scientists developing AI models, and the people who construct and run them • Identify, create, and prepare data for modern data solutions and AI • Design ETLs and ELTs for data transformations • Design, build, and manage Datalake architectures • Work with Apache Hadoop projects, including Spark, Hive, Pig, Oozie, and Airflow • Integrate and test data solutions • Create and document tests to meet requirements • Work with Big Data environments • Manage data cloud services, data access, security, and data governance • Analyze and prepare data for machine learning workloads • Manage application and service monitoring and logs

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in Data Engineer/Architect role and tasks as ETL, data prepare & ingest, data streaming • Experience working in AWS environments • Knowledge of Python, R or other data process tools • Intermediate/ Upper English Level • Experience with Apache Spark • Experience using AWS Data services: S3, AWS or Microsoft Glue, Athena, Sagemaker, etc. • Experience using Devops tools (Git, pipelines) • Experience working in an Agile Scrum team • Experience working with infrastructure as a code (Terraform, Cloudformation, etc.) • Ability to work from Argentina • Availability for a shift from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday to Friday • Some travel required
