📋 Description

• Collecting and verifying employee and timekeeping data • Computing wages, deductions, commissions, expenses, etc. • Reviewing wages to ensure accuracy • Processing bi-weekly, semi-monthly and monthly payrolls • Updating/verifying payroll information for promotions, transfers, termination and new hires in payroll • Processing quarterly MBO bonuses, severance pay, etc. • Preparing and uploading 401(k) contribution information • Answering employee questions/concerns • Maintaining strict confidentiality of all payrolls, employee and proprietary info • Recording and reconciling payroll-related accounting transactions in the general ledger

🎯 Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience working with payroll • Experience in payroll processing • Journal Entry and NetSuite Experience Preferred • Strong working knowledge of accounting/payroll principles and tax laws • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines • Strong attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy • Experience with payroll systems (ADP, Paycom, Other) • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel • Team player who can collaborate with other departments in the organization • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to clearly communicate issues to all levels of management • Ability to multi-task • Flexible and able to adapt to changes
