• Serves as the first point of contact for patients • Provide exceptional customer service while facilitating general appointment and escalation appointment scheduling • Register new patients and review demographics for existing patients • Insurance verification and answering general patient questions • Preparing patient messages to providers, triage, surgical scheduling and other internal departments • Resolve patient inquiries and concerns and escalate emergent concerns appropriately and in a timely manner
• High School Diploma • One year of experience working in a medical practice or in a health insurance organization • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Prior use of EMR systems preferred • Demonstrates strong self-management skills in a remote work environment • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. • Thorough knowledge in computer information systems.
