📋 Description

• Ensure existing service mapping is accurate and current across hosts, servers, and applications • Extend mapping coverage to certificates, websites, agents, and SaaS applications • Participate in workflows onboarding new applications and capabilities into the CMDB • Use discovery and software-asset tooling to improve inventory fidelity • Improve service catalog and metadata, ticket routing and assignment-group data, and Dataverse structures supporting delivery capabilities such as the AskIT service chatbot • Prepare data for AI consumption by ensuring it is complete, disambiguated, and semantically clean • Leverage existing Dataverse schemas, discovery tooling, and search indexes rather than building new infrastructure • Make data consumable without re-verification by turning recurring data problems into repeatable quality practices • Work independently under a Senior Manager's direction • Measure coverage, data confidence, application onboarding time, and reusability of data-quality improvements

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, data management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience • Five to eight years in IT data, configuration/asset management, or a data-engineering-adjacent role • Demonstrable ownership of a data domain • Hands-on experience with CMDB and service mapping concepts, including configuration items, relationships, and service dependencies • Working knowledge of Lansweeper, agent-based discovery, and software asset management systems • Understanding of certificates, websites, agents, and SaaS applications as asset types • Strong data-quality fundamentals, including profiling, deduplication, normalization, completeness, and accuracy measurement • Practical experience querying and shaping data in Dataverse or a comparable relational/low-code data platform • Query capability to investigate, validate, and correct data at scale independently • Familiarity with data readiness for AI systems, including completeness, disambiguation, and clean semantics • Ability to embed quality into onboarding workflows and create repeatable practices • Ability to communicate data issues and business impact to technical and non-technical stakeholders • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Power Automate, Azure AI Search, or similar is advantageous • Exposure to vulnerability or exposure management as a data consumer is advantageous • ITIL familiarity or a data-management certification such as DAMA/CDMP is advantageous
