📋 Description

• Assess application architectures and provide security guidance • Implement security controls in CI/CD pipelines and application environments • Investigate suspected security issues • Build AI agents and apply AI solutions to automate and scale security checks • Serve as HostGator Latam’s focal point for penetration testing, DAST, SAST, SCA, and other initiatives led by Newfold Digital’s global security team • Conduct code reviews to ensure compliance with security standards • Deliver presentations and collaborate with the development team to promote security best practices • Prioritize identified security vulnerabilities, engage the responsible teams, track remediation deadlines, and ensure end-to-end resolution

🎯 Requirements

• Experience applying Security by Design and Security by Default principles • Experience with security tools for AWS and OCI (Oracle Cloud) environments • Knowledge of code analysis tools such as SourceClear, Checkmarx, SonarQube, Veracode, and Jenkins • Experience programming in Go, PHP, React, and JavaScript • Experience or a strong interest in using AI for security, including LLMs, agents, and automation • Ownership mindset, with the ability to mobilize the right people and drive solutions through to completion • Strong influencing, negotiation, and communication skills when working with technical teams, even without direct authority • Advanced English proficiency • Knowledge of ISO 27034 is a plus • Knowledge of common application security vulnerabilities and participation in communities and projects such as OWASP are a plus • Previous experience building AI agents or AI-based security tools is a plus • Degree in Systems Analysis, Information Systems, or a related field is a plus • Application security training or coursework is a plus • CSSLP certification is a plus
