📋 Description

• The ServiceNow Tester is responsible for developing and supporting the planning, design and execution of test plans, test scripts, and process plans for projects. • The ServiceNow Tester will be responsible for ensure that the end product meets the minimum quality standards, is fully functional and user friendly. • The ServiceNow Tester should demonstrate strong attention to detail, and have analytical problem-solving abilities, interpret and implement quality assurance standards and provide accurate and comprehensive feedback to colleagues. • Develop and execute test plans to ensure that all objectives are met. • Implement and monitor test scripts to assess functionality, reliability, performance and quality of the service or product. • Identify and remedy defects within the production process. • Recommend, implement, and monitor preventative and corrective actions to ensure that quality assurance standards are achieved. • Compile and analyze statistical data. • Ensure that user expectations are met during the testing process. • Draft quality assurance policies and procedures. • Investigate customer complaints and product issues. • Ensure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements.

🎯 Requirements

• A four-year undergraduate degree in Computer Science or relevant field • 3+ years ServiceNow testing experience or in related field • Ability to understand several testing techniques (e.g., performance, unit, integration, automated), their strengths and weakness, and ability to use them to best effect - including tracking and addressing of any discovered issues. • Ability to use tools (such as IDE, debugger, build tools, source control, ServiceNow instances, profilers, system administration/Unix tools) to assist with daily tasks • A good understanding of software testing types, techniques, tools, processes, and methodologies. • Reviewing test cases, test scenarios, analysing the cause of the issues and taking corrective actions as required. • Good understanding of all Testing Techniques which includes Smoke testing, Functional testing, Integration testing, System testing, Regression Testing, Stress Testing, Black box testing • Solid functional and non-functional end to end testing experience of ServiceNow platform • Experienced in testing of ServiceNow based products. • Resource should have hands on working knowledge of using an already existing automation framework (ATF) to solve different testing delivery problem, challenges, preference will be given to ServiceNow ATF tool. • Technical expert responsible for specifying, planning, reporting, designing, reviewing in his/her technical areas (e.g. Service now /Automation areas).
