📋 Description
• Review and evaluate existing infrastructure • Audit the configuration of our servers • Security audit • Server hardening - reduce vulnerabilities by disabling unnecessary services and applying strict access controls • Identify bottlenecks, operational risks, and opportunities for improvement • Recommend and help implement infrastructure improvements • Improve platform reliability, performance, monitoring, and operational visibility • Support infrastructure modernization, migration, and consolidation initiatives • Troubleshoot complex production and infrastructure issues • Collaborate closely with developers and technical leads • Recommend infrastructure standards, operational best practices, and long-term improvements • Contribute to infrastructure planning and technical decision-making
🎯 Requirements
• Senior experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, systems administration, or platform operations • Experience working in hosting providers, managed infrastructure services, cloud operations, or data center environments • Strong Linux administration skills and experience with AWS environments • Experience operating, troubleshooting, and improving production systems • Experience with monitoring, operational reliability, and infrastructure modernization • Infrastructure automation experience using Ansible or similar tools • Familiarity with technologies such as nginx, MySQL, Aurora, Redis/ElastiCache, Docker, or similar infrastructure tools • Scripting skills in Python, Ruby, Bash, or similar languages • Ability to quickly assess complex environments, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend practical solutions • Strong communication and collaboration skills
