📋 Description

• Develop, maintain, and optimize data systems in an Azure cloud environment. • Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory and related tools. • Develop and optimize data warehouses in Azure Synapse, including dimensional modeling (star schema). • Define and implement end-to-end data architecture for modern cloud data platforms (Azure, Snowflake). • Administer and optimize databases, including performance tuning, query optimization, indexing, and monitoring. • Ensure data quality, integrity, and availability through proper data cleansing, normalization, and integration. • Implement data security best practices, including encryption, masking, and access control in Azure. • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency. • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions and support data-driven initiatives. • Support analytics and data science use cases by preparing and transforming data for reporting and modeling.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer. • English level: B2+/C1. • Strong experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Azure SQL/Databricks. • Solid expertise in ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline design. • Strong background in data warehousing and dimensional modeling (star schema). • Proven experience in database administration (DBA): performance tuning, query optimization, indexing, and security. • Experience designing data architecture in Azure (storage, processing, security). • Proficiency in SQL (critical) and Python for data processing and analysis. • Knowledge of OLAP, MOLAP, and ROLAP concepts. • Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools. • Familiarity with Snowflake and modern cloud data ecosystems is a plus. • Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
