📋 Description

• Design and build next-generation Agentic AI platforms • Develop AI-powered microservices, intelligent agents, data pipelines, and long-running event-driven workflows • Enable automation, decision-making, and AI-assisted operations at scale • Work closely with cloud, AI, and product teams • Deliver production-grade AI systems integrating LLMs, retrieval pipelines, vector databases, and agent frameworks on Microsoft Azure • Prototype, integrate, and optimize intelligent automation, copilots, and multi-agent workflows • Integrate AI models and agents into production-grade backend systems

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Python backend development (FastAPI, Flask, or similar) • 5+ years of hands-on experience with REST API design and microservices architecture • 5+ years of hands-on experience with event-driven systems and asynchronous workflows • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure App Service (containers) and Azure Functions • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure Service Bus (queues/topics) • 5+ years of hands-on experience with backend services supporting AI, data-driven workflows, and intelligent automation • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Cosmos DB (NoSQL; vector search is a plus) • 5+ years of hands-on experience writing scalable, cloud-native services on Microsoft Azure • Experience with Agile project management tools (Jira or Azure DevOps) • Solid understanding of SOLID, design patterns, clean architecture, and distributed systems • Experience applying Data Science concepts within backend and AI-driven systems • Experience with data processing and transformation for AI workloads, including feature extraction, embeddings, and structured outputs • Experience building and integrating data pipelines to support AI and agent-based workflows • Understanding of data-driven decision logic and AI-assisted automation in production systems • Experience using AI-assisted development tools, including GitHub Copilot and Cursor IDE or similar AI-driven coding environments • Exposure to or hands-on work with Agentic AI and orchestration frameworks, such as Microsoft Agent Framework, LangGraph, LangChain, Microsoft Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, and Azure AI Services • Understanding and implementation of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases and semantic search, long-running event-driven AI workflows, prompt engineering, and tool-based agent design • Ability to prototype, integrate, and optimize intelligent automation, copilots, and multi-agent workflows • Experience integrating AI models and agents into production-grade backend systems • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Strong communication skills with English proficiency at B2/C1 level • Strong ownership mindset and passion for building scalable platforms • Nice to have: experience with microservices architectures, event-driven patterns, and messaging systems • Nice to have: familiarity with ELSA workflows or BPMN-style orchestration • Nice to have: test automation and unit testing in Python (PyTest, etc.) • Nice to have: experience with Azure API Management, Key Vault, Blob Storage, Application Insights, and Azure OpenAI
