📋 Description

• Analyze and understand complex existing application architectures • Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance legacy Java applications • Navigate large monolithic codebases with limited documentation • Work with JSP, Servlets, Hibernate, and Java EE technologies • Develop and maintain REST APIs and enterprise system integrations • Collaborate closely with technical leadership and existing engineering teams • Identify technical risks, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement • Use AI assisted development tools to accelerate code understanding, documentation, testing, and delivery • Support architectural discussions and recommend practical technical solutions • Document existing systems, workflows, integrations, and technical decisions

🎯 Requirements

• Strong professional experience with Java and Java EE applications • Hands on experience with JSP • Hands on experience with Servlets • Strong experience with Hibernate • Experience supporting and developing monolithic applications • Ability to understand and navigate complex existing codebases • Experience with Apache Tomcat • Experience with MySQL • Experience designing, developing, or integrating REST APIs • Experience working with enterprise integrations and interconnected systems
