📋 Description

• Serve as subject matter expert by demonstrating a high level of knowledge of customer policies and procedures to include case coverage for all case types, issue resolution, reporting requirements, and working knowledge of FWS • Answer field investigator, reviewer, and section lead case related questions and concerns via telephone and email • Understand the essential functions of field and review department positions • Reviews the front end of field investigations for compliance with national standards and customer requirements • Provides guidance to CACI field staff regarding responsibilities to the investigation along with issues raised during the conduct of an investigation • Assesses designated case types to communicate important case information to the field while cancelling unwarranted items and ensuring all necessary field work is scheduled or extended • Manage daily workload and task list, prioritizing based on customer, business needs, and team needs; participate in all mandatory meetings

🎯 Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship (a requirement for obtaining a Federal security clearance) • Must possess and maintain a current favorably adjudicated T5 or T5R background investigation at all times • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work-related experience in conducting Federal background investigations and/or reviewing Federal background investigation reports of investigation • Candidates must have at least 12 months’ experience conducting/processing background investigations • Must be able to multitask and be comfortable with fast paced environment handling both e-mail and telephone inquiries • Must be flexible with schedule availability. Schedule consists of morning and afternoon shifts. Position requires approximately two late afternoon shifts per month • Excellent computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) • Strong customer service skills • Highly detail-oriented, excellent time management, organizational and administrative skills with the ability to prioritize and/or reprioritize daily tasks based on the needs of the customer, business, and/or your team; and remain flexible and receptive to changes resulting from customer or business needs • Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to recognize patterns, trends and/or issues, identify key findings, determine conclusions, and communicate all relevant information • Strong verbal and written communication skills to communicate with individuals by telephone, email, and face to face; ability to establish and promote a team-oriented work environment; and maintain an energetic positive-mind with the ability to foster relationships with and amongst your team and colleagues • Impeccable work ethic, integrity, and “can-do” attitude with a sense of mission in support of national security • Ability to pass a mandatory pre-employment drug test • Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable U.S. Government security clearance • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
