📋 Description

• Own the architecture across Nexus’s product surface • Write production code in critical services and complex integrations • Work across multiple pods to align on system boundaries • Shape engineering practices for stability and quick shipping • Mentor tech leads and develop the next generation of architects • Partner with leadership to turn strategy into technical plans • Write clear design docs and make complex systems understandable

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years building production software • 2+ years in an engineering leadership capacity • Deep, hands-on proficiency in Rust, Go, Next.js / TypeScript, and Google Cloud • Experience designing high-throughput, low-latency systems • Track record designing distributed, performance-sensitive systems • Strong instincts for code quality and testing strategy • Influence through clear thinking and written artifacts • Fluent written and spoken English • Based in Latin America, comfortable working asynchronously
