• Supervises coding workflow and monitors employee performance • Addresses complaints and resolves problems • Ensures compliance with national coding guidelines and NGHS coding policies • Provides coder specific education based on review findings and trends • Tracks and monitors productivity and provides feedback to employees
• Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Inpatient Coder (CIC) or Certified Outpatient Coder (COC) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) • High School Diploma or GED • Five (5) years of hospital based coding experience to include complex CPT surgical coding and advanced ICD-10-CM-PCS coding
