📋 Description

• We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Deal Desk Analyst to join our team at [Mortgage Company Name]. • This position plays a critical role in reviewing underwriting guidelines across multiple mortgage product types including Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, Jumbo, and Non-QM loans. • The successful candidate will act as a liaison between the Sales, Underwriting, and Investor teams, ensuring that mortgage deals are in compliance with guidelines and are structured effectively for approval

🎯 Requirements

• Previous experience working at an independent mortgage bank. • Experience in mortgage underwriting, with strong knowledge of the different loan types and their respective guidelines. • Proficiency in mortgage loan guidelines and documentation. • Ability to analyze complex loan structures and identify potential issues. • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external investors. • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities. • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. • Minimum of 7 years of experience in the mortgage industry, preferably in underwriting or deal desk functions.
