📋 Description

• Design and develop modern web applications with a focus on clean, efficient, and scalable code • Work closely with users, product management, and UI/UX teams to create intuitive, high-performing interfaces • Apply discipline to ensure high code quality and standards, including implementing unit tests • Work in a changing environment under tight deadlines • Deliver responsive, modular, and performant React-based applications • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to validate products that support wildlife protection

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years as a web technologies software engineer • Fundamental expertise in HTML, CSS+SCSS, and JavaScript • Expertise using web frameworks and platforms, notably React • Expertise in automated testing at the unit and integration level • Expertise with source code repositories and build systems • Knowledge of responsive design best practices and principles • Experience with web development tools (yarn, webpack, docker, etc.) • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, both within teams and externally to partners • Experience working in an Agile development environment • Experience with mapping technologies (Mapbox, OpenLayers, ESRI or Google Maps) • Significant experience with server-side technologies • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or a related technical discipline • Excellent coding experience in open source libraries and frameworks • Experience delivering solutions on AWS, Google Cloud or Azure • H1B sponsorship not available; only considering candidates from LATAM
