📋 Description

• Dispatch emergency services to fires, medical emergencies, & other emergencies and non-emergent situations • Dispatch Security personnel to a variety of safety/security-related calls • Communicate effectively with co-workers and other agencies when necessary • Accurately and quickly utilize a computer-aided dispatch system to capture information on emergency and non-emergency calls • Notifies appropriate parties, using available dispatch resources that include but not limited to phone, radio, and pager system of emergencies and non-emergencies as they occur • Monitors various facility, drill site, camp, and other alarms and makes appropriate timely notifications to responsible personnel • Function as the phone operator for the Greater Prudhoe Bay Field • Answer phone calls from the public, multiple agencies on site, and other related entities and handle their routine requests/needs • Informs Security/Dispatch leadership of personnel matters which may require administrative follow up • Work cooperatively with others in a shared-space indoors office environment • Work 12-hr shifts for 14 consecutive days/nights

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent • Must have at least two (2) years directly related to this field • Must have Intermediate computer skills to include but not limited to Microsoft office and contract specific software • Must be able to cooperate and work as part of a team with fellow employees, customers, and clients • Must be able to make decisions in the moment with little to no supervision • Must meet and adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations set forth by the company and client • Must be able to effectively multi-task, work in a divided-attention environment when necessary, and remain calm while managing emergencies and non-emergent situations. • Contract requires employees to speak, understand, read, and write English
