📋 Description

• Responsible for preparing, reviewing, and signing/stamping Engineer’s Reports for assessment and special district formations and annual administration. • Conduct technical analyses and develop cost estimates for the construction, operation, and maintenance of public improvements. • Develop and apply assessment methodologies and ensure compliance with Proposition 218 and other applicable statutory requirements. • Manage the engineering components of multiple district projects simultaneously, ensuring quality control and timely delivery of all work products. • Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to clearly communicate engineering principles and findings. • Support marketing and proposal efforts by providing technical input, developing scopes and cost estimates, and participating in interviews or presentations. • Maintain current engineer licensure and knowledge of legislation, regulations, and best practices affecting special district engineering. • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior staff members, contributing to their growth in technical knowledge and consulting skills.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university. • Active Professional Civil Engineer (PE) license in the State of California (required). • Broad practical engineering experience across disciplines such as public works, infrastructure, or land development. • Consulting experience or familiarity with public agency operations and funding mechanisms preferred.
