Node is a global coliving and furnished-apartment operator. It provides fully furnished, all-inclusive coliving rooms, studios, and apartments for short and extended stays across London, Dublin, New York, Los Angeles and Toronto. Community and design-led living are core to its offering, with shared spaces, corporate stays, and student housing (Nook). The company also offers B2B services for developers and investors through a Design Studio and Asset Management / co-development partnerships.

📋 Description

• Program Design: Building a deep understanding of member organizations' aims and needs, and using it to shape NODE's community and network strategy (shared with the Head of NODE). • Spotting collaboration opportunities across the network and translating them into concrete NODE activities, owning that process from idea to delivery. • Identify gaps that require external expertise, and independently source, brief, and manage external experts and consultants. • Take on other work as network needs emerge, exercising judgment on prioritization. • Community & network development: Building and maintaining strategic relationships throughout the NODE network and nurturing relationships between members’ staff and beyond. • In practice it would mean running regular check-ins with member organizations to surface needs and strengthen relationships and trust across the network. • Nurture day-to-day communication and culture in NODE's online community space (Slack). • Program delivery: Own the planning and delivery of both remote and in-person collaboration including logistics, agenda design, and follow-ups. • Organize and facilitate regular community activities including webinars, guest speaker presentations, trainings, thematic cohorts meetings. • Contribute to organization of in-person summits (two per year). • Scope, commission, and help deliver trainings that respond to network needs, working with both internal and external facilitators. • Knowledge & communications: Collecting and organizing materials produced by member organizations into an accessible online library. • Maintaining and improving NODE's organizational knowledge base. • Communicating with clarity, timeliness, and a balance of levity and gravity.

🎯 Requirements

• A strong track record developing and maintaining collaborative relationships across organizations, communities, and movements, ideally among progressive and campaigning organizations. • A track record of building trust and collaboration among diverse, independent organizations. • Genuine alignment with NODE's mission and its decentralized, multi-hub way of working. • 5+ years established track record of independent, effective projects. • Strong ability to work with a high degree of autonomy and collaboratively in an environment that requires juggling competing priorities. • Strong relationship-building and listening skills, with cultural sensitivity across different national contexts. • Very comfortable with digital tools and ability to learn fast. • Fluent written and spoken English and a track record of effective written and verbal communication for various audiences and in various contexts. • Ability to travel. • Experience in “communities of practice” context or similar and experience in designing and facilitating online and in-person convenings is desirable.
