📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain global network infrastructure • Develop and maintain Akamai's core network configuration templates using Jinja2 • Implement new hardware platforms and network features within the automation framework • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data models and functional requirements • Serve as a subject matter expert for complex network issues • Perform deep-dive troubleshooting and analysis • Create and maintain clear documentation and procedures • Drive the evolution of network infrastructure from initial architecture through implementation

🎯 Requirements

• Relevant experience and a Bachelor's in computer science or equivalent experience • Extensive experience in IP network design and implementation of scalable BGP routing architecture • Understanding of Data Center architecture, including CLOS Fabric and overlay technologies such as VxLAN and EVPN • Experience managing and troubleshooting multi-vendor environments including Juniper and Cisco • Experience with routing platforms such as BIRD, FRR, and Cumulus • Understanding of end-to-end data flows and traffic patterns • Experience developing and managing network configuration templates using Python, Ansible, and Jinja2
