📋 Description

• Maintain network hosts and services, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN endpoints • Perform network maintenance and upgrades, including occasional evening or weekend work • Troubleshoot network issues and outages • Support global production and corporate network infrastructure, including edge, backbone, datacenter, POP, and CDN infrastructure • Assist vendors with hardware and software issues on servers • Assist with traffic-related matters and ISP/partner queries • Support incidents involving input errors, CRC, RMA, and related issues • Work directly with ISPs and vendors to resolve network issues • Perform other duties as required

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) from a four-year college or university and 3 to 4 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience • Basic understanding of routing, switching, server operating systems, Active Directory, firewalls, wireless controllers, DNS, email, virtual machines, and software applications • Familiarity with content delivery networks and internet peering strategies • Understanding of server hardware technologies related to content delivery performance and capacity • Ability to work independently with accuracy and attention to detail • Ability to build stable internal working relationships • Ability to follow standard practices and procedures when analyzing situations or data • Ability to perform office-related tasks, including prolonged sitting or standing • Ability to move within an office environment • Ability to use a computer • Ability to communicate effectively
