📋 Description

• Ensure the operation and uptime of Compute services and infrastructure • Supervise and maintain critical infrastructure • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create tooling and software that monitors and improves system reliability • Work with various technologies as new applications are released and existing tooling is modernized • Provide support and mentorship for other SRE engineers • Deploy and maintain internally used platforms and tools • Improve the Compute Cloud Interface platform to speed error detection and remediation and enhance performance and reliability • Develop and improve automation for daily activities and toil reduction • Participate in on-call rotations and guide restoration and repair of service-impacting issues • Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve customer escalations and incidents

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or its equivalent • Experience automating with Python and/or Golang and scripting with bash • Understanding of systems reliability, observability, monitoring, and adherence to SLOs • Experience with SaltStack, Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins CI/CD • Hands-on mastery of Linux administration • Hands-on experience with Docker and container-based platforms • Hands-on experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, nginx, Envoy, HAProxy, and Redis
