📋 Description

• Apply analytical skills and statistical insights to identify performance bottlenecks and reliability challenges and propose solutions • Develop tools to diagnose problems faster and more independently • Define, implement, and mine data feeds from Akamai internal sources to produce insights • Influence company decision-making and identify areas for new technology investments • Partner with Engineering, Operations, and Product teams to guide adoption of new features and processes • Build software tools and systems to automate analytical tasks and workflows, increasing efficiency and reliability • Analyze and measure platform performance and reliability using large datasets • Develop forecast and early warning systems for content delivery challenges

🎯 Requirements

• Academic or industrial experience • PhD or master's degree in computer science or another quantitative field • Analytical background with experience in statistical data analysis • Experience coding in one or more of Python, C, or C++ • Experience with Internet protocols: DNS, HTTP, TLS, and TCP • Understanding of machine learning algorithms • Excellent communication and organizational skills • Ability to articulate technical information in an easy-to-understand manner
