📋 Description

• Define test strategies and design detailed test plans for next-generation routing platforms • Design, develop, and execute functional tests for routing services, emphasizing BGP, FRRouting, and GoBGP • Validate EVPN, BGP Route Reflection, and IP routing and switching technologies • Create and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks using Python and Pytest • Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation • Conduct performance, stress, and scalability testing using Spirent TestCenter or comparable traffic-generation solutions • Resolve complex networking problems, analyze routing convergence, and identify root causes of system-wide malfunctions • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and mentor junior engineers • Improve resilience, scalability, performance, reliability, and functionality of routing infrastructure

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in Network Validation, QA Automation, or Systems Testing • Practical knowledge in computer science, engineering, or related fields • Expertise in L2/L3 networking concepts, including TCP/IP and IPv4/IPv6 • Experience configuring, debugging, and testing routing stacks such as FRR • Expertise in BGP protocols, attributes, state machines, and scaling techniques • Advanced Python proficiency for automation using Pytest and libraries • Experience with high-scale traffic generation tools such as Spirent, Keysight/Ixia, Cisco TRex, or Xena Networks • Experience using Docker to containerize routing daemons, manage multi-container network topologies, and create virtualized network test environments
