📋 Description

• Collaborating on UI content design to find apt labels and helpful on-screen guidance • Learning and mastering Akamai's documentation tools, methods, and delivery mechanisms as the work requires • Developing comprehensive reference documentation for developer tools like APIs, CLIs, and SDKs • Understanding user goals and working with cross-functional teams to scope the user experience deliverables • Following Akamai's technical communications guidelines • Advocating for user needs in product design, ensuring documentation aligns to real-world use cases and follows user-centered design principles

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Technical Writing, Computer Science, or another related field or its equivalent • Excellent communication and writing skills in English • Demonstrated experience writing for a technical audience working in security, networking, or software development • Knowledge of web protocols, networking, web application firewalls, and other technologies • Existing writing samples demonstrating excellence in crafting UI text, product documentation, and API references • Experience documenting APIs and a solid understanding of Markdown and GIT • Analytical skills to process complex technical information and a desire to learn new skills
