📋 Description

• Diagnosing and coordinate server hardware repairs and manage hardware assets. • Troubleshooting basic network issues (Layer 1 & 2) and escalate as needed. • Collaborating with ISPs, vendors, and field engineers to resolve issues and return faulty equipment. • Working closely with hardware engineering to identify recurring hardware faults.Track hardware failure trends & proactively report findings. • Documenting operational processes and recommend improvements. • Building expertise in Akamai's server architecture and tools.

🎯 Requirements

• Have bachelor's degree in technology field & 2+ Years of experience with server hardware & fault diagnosis. • Have understanding of networking (IP, DHCP, VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS) & with server components (HDD, RAM, RAID, etc.). • Have hands-on with Linux/Unix CLI and OSI Model fundamentals. • Possess good analytical and troubleshooting skills & excellent communication and stakeholder management. • Be flexible to occasionally work outside regular hours. • Able to script in Python or Perl is valuable.
