📋 Description

• Perform real-world, end-to-end testing to qualify releases • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and support teams • Build automation frameworks supporting end-to-end test cases • Develop and design tools to test and benchmark distributed systems • Become an expert user of internal highly distributed systems • Maintain test environments • Create workflows and tools to automate testing and benchmarking • Ensure code releases are resilient, scalable, and optimally performing on Akamai's cloud and edge infrastructure

🎯 Requirements

• An engineering background or equivalent education in computer science or a related field • Relevant hands-on experience working with test automation frameworks such as Pytest, Robot Framework, or similar • Experience operating within Linux/Unix environments • Moderate to advanced proficiency in Python • Working knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, testing frameworks, TCP/IP, and HTTP • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills • Experience with AI-driven tools for test creation, debugging, or automation, and observability tools such as Grafana and Prometheus is nice to have
