📋 Description

• Drive new Linode customer acquisition and account growth as a public cloud pre-sales technical specialist • Collaborate with sales on technical aspects of the sales lifecycle • Drive customer success and Linode consumption as part of the integrated account team • Lead solution and product innovation initiatives • Evangelize APJ use cases and technologies • Influence the product roadmap with product managers • Build technical thought leadership in cloud computing and Linode • Support overall Akamai APJ business growth • Guide customers through strategic and technical aspects of cloud transformation

🎯 Requirements

• 5 years+ of relevant experience in a customer-facing technical role with a cloud/hosting provider company • Successful experience architecting complex IaaS solutions for customers • Professional architect-level certifications from AWS/GCP • Hands-on skills in three or more domains: Kubernetes, cloud networking, database, storage, AI & GPU, IaC/CI/CD tooling, gaming or media streaming tech stack • Knowledge and hands-on skills in open-source technologies including Apache Web Server, MySQL/PostgreSQL, Redis, Nginx, and Terraform • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, including communicating complex technical content to technical and non-technical audiences • Cloud professional service delivery experience is ideal
