📋 Description

• Lead security engineering activities for complex systems, platforms, and R&D project components • Translate security architecture, requirements, and threat models into implementable technical controls • Design and implement security mechanisms across networks, operating systems, applications, and cloud environments • Perform threat modelling, security risk analysis, hardening, and penetration testing • Review system designs and configurations from a security perspective • Lead resolution of complex security findings and support root-cause analysis • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineers • Author and co-author technical security content for R&D deliverables and reports • Deliver implemented and validated security controls and configurations • Produce threat models, assessments, validation reports, technical security designs, hardening documentation, security architectures, and R&D deliverable sections

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience in cyber security or secure systems engineering • Strong knowledge of network, infrastructure, operating-system, application, and data security • Experience designing and implementing security controls in complex or distributed systems • Practical experience with security testing, vulnerability management, and hardening • Understanding of cloud, virtualisation, containers, DevSecOps, PKI, and cryptography • Experience leading technical security workstreams or mentoring engineers • Willingness to complete a government security clearance process • CISSP, OSCP, GIAC, or cloud security certifications are a plus
