• Working through complex ITAR, EAR and DTCA scenarios where the answer isn’t clear • Advising programs early to shape integrated compliant pathways • Managing regulatory obligations, authorizations and requests through to outcome • Handling a steady flow of business and program-driven work while staying across new demands • Mentoring others and lifting overall understanding of trade compliance
• Strong experience across ITAR, EAR, DTCA and other export controls • Confidence delivering solutions to senior stakeholders, with clear, well‑reasoned advice • The ability to explain complex decisions simply, while keeping the detail needed for audit and compliance • A mindset of ownership and persistence — you’ll work it through until there’s a way forward • Must be an Australian Citizen and able to obtain and maintain an NV1 security clearance
