• Establishes and maintains a good working relationship with customers by providing technical assistance, entertaining, and frequent personal contact with customers’ upper-level management. • Develops and presents proposals to customers to solicit sales of Fiber Glass Systems products. • Provides technical guidance and sales support whenever necessary. • Prepares forecast and budget for territory and monitors progress on a regular basis. • Stays abreast of competitors’ products and services and assists in developing market and pricing strategy. • Assists in preparing job specifications and in making presentations to various industrial, governmental, and code officials.
• Work may require evening and weekend work • Previous sales experience (territory management preferred) • Previous customer-facing experience • Candidate must be able to work independently in a home-based office, as the schedule is fully remote • Candidate must have strong oral and written communication skills including the ability to provide group presentations in a seminar environment • Significant domestic travel is required • Valid US driver’s license and safe driving history • Overnight Travel required • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical sales working with Engineers, Architects, etc. • Knowledge of the downstream petroleum industry is preferred • Proficient with MS Office Word, Excel & PowerPoint is required. • General understanding of how environmental regulations are enforced in the petroleum and water markets. • Requires excellent interpersonal skills in dealing with employees and customers. • Requires good organizational and computer skills to prepare presentations, maintain customer files, prepare management reports, and maintain accurate records
