• Prepare monthly financial statements and complete month-end close. • Reconcile bank accounts, general ledger, and balance sheet accounts. • Record journal entries and maintain accurate financial records. • Analyze financial results and investigate variances. • Support budgeting, forecasting, and audit activities. • Collaborate with Property Managers to ensure financial accuracy. • Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies. • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and controls.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate or property management. • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles. • Experience with month-end close and account reconciliations. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP. • Experience with property management/accounting software tools.
