• Ensure compliance with NRC policies, guidelines and standards • Provide technical support and capacity building to support staff • Monitor team activities and implementation against standards • Implement complex systems and procedures in line with NRC policies, SOPs, and handbooks • Line-manage the logistics team • Ensure compliance with NRC policies, donor requirements, and auditor requirements • Ensure quality and efficient support to project implementation • Maintain logistics document filing and implement the SSD Policy • Ensure technical capacity building of logistics staff • Maintain accurate NRC asset lists at area and field levels • Oversee logistical procedures and review procurement documents and contracts • Establish supplier prequalification, LTAs, and FWAs as required • Schedule vehicle maintenance and manage vehicle movement plans • Supervise warehouse management • Reconcile fuel use and other stock items • Conduct logistics and procurement transaction spot checks • Ensure procurement quality and cost efficiency • Prepare logistics reports for donors and audits • Conduct field visits for compliance checks and training • Lead the logistics team, analyze logistics support and data, monitor support functions, and prepare reports • Maintain logistics records in O365 and other filing systems • Perform additional tasks assigned by the line manager
• Minimum 2 years of experience of logistics and supply chain in humanitarian sectors • Bachelor Degree in logistics or supply chain management • Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts • Documented results related humanitarian logistics management and supply chain system • Local context knowledge of private & public services network • Sufficient in English language proficiency in both written and verbal • Initiative/Innovative skills and sufficient ICT knowledge • Ability of contextual skills, analytical skills and problem solving skills • Organizational management skills and efficiency of handling multi-tasks • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills • Ability to work under pressure, independently and with limited supervision • Knowledge on standard safety and security concerns, local contexts, and geographic locations • Planning and delivering results through others • Managing resources to optimize results • Empowering and building trust • Performing and prioritizing well under pressure • Communicating with impact and respect • Handling insecure environments
