📋 Description

• Prepare students to obtain entry-level employment as medical assistant technicians. • Provide instruction in the classroom and through supervised clinical practice or a capstone experience. • Teach students to prepare patients for various technical examinations such as EKGs and phlebotomy. • Instruct students on how to perform several technical procedures.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of a High School Diploma required. • An associate's degree in a health care field is preferred. • Completed Diploma in Medical Billing and Coding, or Insurance. • Certified Professional Coder (CPC) Certificate. • Completed a post-secondary training as a Medical Assistant. • Three years of work experience at a minimum. • Prefer: Prior experience teaching in an online format or remote-live platform.
