📋 Description

• Perform advanced and/or supervisory computer systems analysis and team lead work within Quality Assurance (QA) for IT-SEDS • Administer the daily operations and activities of testing teams • Plan, budget, and analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or improve systems • Analyze user requirements and design documents to develop detailed test cases • Create and execute automated functional and regression test cases against HTML, PDF, and Excel reports • Report and document all issues, test cases ran, test results, and testing summaries in detail • Perform SQL queries to analyze and manipulate data • Work with development team and customers to define and implement test case automation and communicate results • Execute performance and accessibility testing • Perform manual testing and data validation • Support and facilitate implementation of apps/projects in the Texas Education Agency

🎯 Requirements

• 8 years required Testing complex Web Applications • 8 years required Testing all phases of Software Development Life Cycle • 5 years required Advanced Database/SQL Language • 3 years required API, JSON, XML • 2 years required Experience with WAPT Pro, Jmeter, or other performance testing tools • 5 years preferred Experience testing reports • 3 years preferred Experience in API testing (SOAP and REST) • 2 years preferred Previous experience with Zephyr Scale • 2 years preferred Previous experience with JIRA • Candidates that do not meet or exceed the minimum stated requirements may not be chosen for this opportunity
