• The attorney will be responsible for handling court publications/notifications, scheduling deadlines in the case management system, reviewing more complex cases, preparing reports, requesting obligations from clients and meeting deadlines. • Prepare and handle initial pleadings (payment order/monitória, enforcement/execution, collection), defenses, counterclaims, and appeals (unclassified appeal/recurso inominado, Appeal/Apelação, Motion for Clarification/Embargos de Declaração, Special Appeal/Recurso Especial - RESP, Extraordinary Appeal/Recurso Extraordinário - REXT, Internal Appeal/Agravo Interno, Interlocutory Appeal in RESP and REXT), simple filings and, in particular, more complex submissions. • Perform specific tasks in the banking and mass-litigation area — acting for both plaintiff and defendant — including drafting procedural documents, managing deadlines, and experience handling the following types of actions: • Bank as Plaintiff (or Debt Recovery): Experience with enforcement/execution actions, objections to execution (embargos à execução), payment orders (monitória), and collection actions; • Bank as Plaintiff (or Active Claims): Lease renewal actions (renovatória de locação), rent revision actions (revisional de aluguel); • Bank as Defendant (or defendant side): Revision actions, indemnity/compensatory claims, declaratory actions, accounting actions (prestação de contas), and precautionary/interim relief (cautelares); • Manage cases in the merits (cognição) phase and in the enforcement/execution of judgments or liquidation of judgments; • Respond to all client inquiries submitted via the internal system and email; • Handle client requests submitted via spreadsheet; • Manage the most complex cases and urgent measures requested by the client; • Enter case information into the firm’s case management system; • Analyze self-waiver of appeals (autodispensa de recursos); • Draft all types of appeals and initial pleadings; • Request enforcement of obligations to act or to pay; • Request supporting materials/subsidies.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years registered with the São Paulo Bar Association (OAB-SP) (registrations from other states will not be accepted); • Experience in law firms, preferably in mass litigation (contencioso massificado); • Proficiency in drafting defenses and appeals; • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and internet research; • Immediate availability.
