📋 Description

• Design and build features across backend APIs and frontend UI, from data models to component behavior. • Backend: implement services in Python (Django, FastAPI) or Node.js (NestJS, Fastify) frameworks; define REST contracts, validation, idempotency, and error models; write integration and contract tests. • Frontend: build in React using JavaScript/TypeScript, state management, reactive forms, and accessible extensible components. • Data and correctness: write SQL for reads and updates, model entities and events, and add checks that reconcile with downstream consumers. • Security by design: apply authentication and authorization, safe secrets handling, and careful PII handling aligned to PCI and ISO expectations. • Observability: add structured logs, metrics, and traces; define basic SLIs and dashboards for your features. • Performance and resilience: use sensible caching and timeouts, apply retries with backoff where needed, and keep latency budgets in mind. • Quality: maintain unit, component, and end-to-end tests; keep CI checks green; write concise docs and change notes. • Payments awareness: Handle flows like 3DS, tokenization, payment lifecycle states, refunds, BNPL plans, and reporting. • Collaboration: review designs and code, break work into small PRs, and provide clear updates on risks, decisions, and next steps.

🎯 Requirements

• 4 to 6 years building web applications or platforms in fintech, payments, banking, or high-scale SaaS. • Backend strength in Python (Django / FastAPI) or Node.js (NestJS / Fastify), REST, and clean API design. • Frontend strength in React with JavaScript / TypeScript and practical state management. • Solid SQL and data modeling. • Comfortable writing joins, using indexes, and reviewing query plans at a basic level. • Working knowledge of CI and CD, containerized apps, and environment configuration. • Good testing habits: unit, integration or contract, and key UI journeys using Jest, Jasmine, Cypress, or Playwright. • Security and privacy basics: authn and authz patterns, safe storage, and input handling. • Clear writing, tidy pull requests, and reliable follow through. • Nice to have: Kafka / RabbitMQ or event-driven architectures, Redis caching, experience with BI/analytics instrumentation.
