• Lead and execute daily accounting activities, including AP/AR, reconciliations, and month-end close. • Maintain the general ledger and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP. • Manage and refine workflows within Fulfill ERP and DEXT to ensure transactional accuracy. • Review and post high-volume e-commerce transactions across Amazon, Walmart, Shopify, and TikTok. • Define and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for accounting and reporting. • Partner with the Head of Finance on cash flow management, budgeting, and variance analysis. • Coordinate with external audit and tax partners (Moss Adams / Baker Tilly) for reviews and year-end adjustments. • Oversee federal, state, and local tax compliance in coordination with external advisors. • Support preparation and filing of income, sales/use, and marketplace facilitator taxes. • Monitor evolving tax regulations impacting e-commerce and CPG sectors. • Liaise with external tax partners for audits, transfer pricing, and intercompany documentation. • Oversee payroll operations through Gusto, ensuring accuracy and timely submissions. • Manage payroll tax filings and ensure proper handling of W-2s, 1099s, and related compliance. • Support HR-related financial compliance, including expense reimbursements and benefits reporting. • Optimize integrations between Fulfill ERP, DEXT, and banking systems. • Drive automation and efficiency across accounting and reporting workflows. • Strengthen internal controls and ensure audit readiness. • Provide leadership with timely reports, insights, and performance analyses. • Contribute to finance infrastructure improvements as the company expands globally.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in CPG or e-commerce environments. • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and tax fundamentals (can ramp up with external firm support). • Experience with ERP or accounting systems such as Fulfill.io and DEXT, and proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets. • Ability to manage large transactional volumes across multiple platforms (Amazon, Walmart, Shopify, TikTok). • Familiarity with U.S. tax reporting processes and coordination with external auditors. • Advanced Excel and data analysis proficiency for reconciliations and reporting. • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with global teams. • Bonus: CPA or equivalent credential. • Bonus: Prior work with U.S.-based audit/tax firms or Big Four background. • Bonus: Familiarity with finance process automation and system integrations. • Bonus: Exposure to ERP/WMS implementation or finance transformation initiatives.
