• Audit and optimize underperforming websites following technical SEO best practices. • Improve site structure, crawlability, indexing, and on-page SEO to increase search visibility. • Build and implement strategies to strengthen both local and national rankings. • Apply Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategies to improve visibility on AI-driven search platforms. • Leverage Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog) to identify issues and uncover opportunities. • Write and edit keyword-rich, engaging content optimized for both users and search engines. • Use AI tools such as ChatGPT or Jasper to streamline content creation while maintaining originality and accuracy. • Ensure all content adheres to U.S. English standards and is aligned with brand voice and conversion goals. • Collaborate with SEO specialists on keyword research, on-page optimization, and internal linking structures. • Partner with marketing and SEO teams on content planning and strategy. • Track performance and continuously improve based on insights from engagement and conversion metrics. • Contribute to building frameworks, processes, and playbooks that enhance the agency’s SEO delivery.
• Proven track record in SEO and content writing, with a portfolio or case studies demonstrating measurable results. • Deep understanding of site structure, crawlability, indexing, and metadata optimization. • Experience optimizing for “near me” searches and geo-targeted keywords. • Proficiency with Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Screaming Frog. • Strong ability to write engaging, keyword-rich, and user-focused copy in U.S. English. • Experience using AI writing tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper) to enhance efficiency and creativity. • Analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to experiment with new technologies and techniques. • Bonus skills: • Knowledge of Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategies. • Experience writing for multiple industries or diverse client profiles. • Familiarity with conversion-focused writing and on-page UX principles. • Understanding of link-building, schema markup, and structured data.
