📋 Description
• Assisting patients by communicating with insurance payors to determine eligible benefits • Acquiring Pre-Certification(s) when necessary • Communicating the liability to the patient after Pre-Certification is obtained • Ensuring the Pre-Service process is completed in advance of the patient’s arrival for scheduled service(s)
🎯 Requirements
• High School diploma or equivalent • 1 year related experience in hospital, clinic, medical office, business services/revenue cycle, front line registration, financial counseling, banking, and/or customer service related job • Effective verbal and written communication skills • Proficient with Windows-style applications, keyboard, and various software packages • Strong interpersonal skills • Reliable transportation to travel to other facilities
